Aim: An application for use on handheld computers for the journalists to write news stories and to see the current news wires, stories and programme running orders.
End Product: A web based application that worked on almost all handheld devices. It was secure, using passwords to ensure against unauthorised access. It also met all requirements for accessiblity awareness.
The application offered the client much more than they originally requested by providing the journalist with a way of uploading audio and video clips and photos and to be able to view all that had been uploaded.
