A large broadcasting corporation used a very large database of 8 million records to track the useage of its News Production system. This was stored on one machine in one office. A number of staff from different departments needed access to the data for different reasons. They also needed to incorporate the Global email address list into the database.

DDT created a web based utility that accessed the database. Users could search from their own desk, using inputted criteria, e.g. months, years, regions, or specific dates. They could then print off reports and charts based on the search results.

It proved very useful and solved the location issue and ensured the email list was incorporated into the system.
